Happiness is...

Today has been an exceptional day. I have had a wonderful drive in the country and ended up at the market. I was dressed for a business meeting later in the day so I received a lot of discrete looks at my legs since I had opted for an above the knee pleated skirt. It was an envigorating visit with light flurries blustering through the air all morning. I was thrilled to purchase some fresh fall vegetables and other ingredients I needed for some new recipes I will try out this weekend. Work was great with only positive events and some great brainstorming. I visited my reflexolgist who always feeds my physical and spiritual well being. I was happy to be able to be a good listener today to people who were not having such a great day as I was. It was also my privilege to be able to pray for some healing for several people with pain today. Tonight I am spending a few minutes surfing the net and checking my email. It is wonderful to have a satisfied kind of tired that tells me I did not waste to many precious moments today but lived life to the fullest. I hope tomorrow is at least the same or dare I project for an even better day! Good night and sweet dreams.

It is September 15, 2006 ALREADY! WHY IS IT THAT ALMOST EVERYONE I HAVE TALKED TO HAS SAID THIS SUMMER IS FLYING BY FASTER THAN ANY OTHER SUMMER YET! Yes, that's right summer is not over yet even though we have had some extremely fall-like weather. I think it has been one of the best summers I have had. Do I say that every summer- every season? That would be a good thing because every day in every way I am getting better and better in the Lord! He has blessed me and my family tremendously this year with giving us the life of my niece Allie back, with a new niece Amanda(Greg's beautiful bride) and a new sister in-law Michelle(Darcy's beautiful wife) and very soon the first great nephew(?)(I still think there is a possibility it will be a girl!!!).Congratulations to Cheri and David! I have also been blessed with some wonderful times with friends at the beach and other outings with friends that have enhanced the incredible weather we have enjoyed all summer. Celebrate the good times through brousing pictures and by daydreaming of better times when the dolldrums of everyday drab fall days threaten to bring you down. I promise it really works!! I had better stop now and get on with my adventurous day!!!

Hi Everyone!

This is my first entry to my blog. I'm not quite sure where this path will lead me but I am rather excited about a new venue for my writing. After seeing the newsy ramblings of my niece living in another country this seems like a fantastic way to communicate all sorts of things. MOre to come as it is late and I still have to review my email.
